Sarah Groner, BS, RDMS (She/Her) received her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Binghamton University in New York.  She graduated from the ultrasound program at The Center for Allied Health Education in Brooklyn, NY.  Sarah is registered in abdominal ultrasound; obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound; and in  fetal echocardiography.  Previously, Sarah was employed as a sonographer at New York Presbyterian, Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.  Sarah joined the Ultrasound Department at Maternal Fetal Care, PC in 2018.  Sarah is certified by the Fetal Medicine Foundation in nuchal translucency (NT), nasal bone (NB), Doppler flow studies, and cervix.  

Rosario Olavarria, RDMS (She/Her) graduated from the Institute of Allied Medical Professions and earned her certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.  Rosie joined the team at Maternal Fetal Care, PC in 2004.  She is a registered sonographer in obstetrics and gynecology. Rosario is certified by the Fetal Medicine Foundation in nuchal translucency (NT), nasal bone (NB), cervical length, and Doppler flow studies.  Rosie is fluent in both English and Spanish and serves as a translator and for our Spanish-speaking patients.  

Priscilla Teixeira, AS, RDMS (She/Her)received her associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Gateway Community College in New Haven, CT.  Priscilla is registered in OBGYN by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.  She is certified by the Fetal Medicine Foundation in nuchal translucency (NT), nasal bone (NB), cervical length, and Doppler flow studies.  We welcomed Priscilla to the Maternal Fetal Care, PC family in 2017.  Previously, Priscilla held a position in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at Bridgeport Hospital as a perinatal sonographer.  Priscilla is fluent in both English and Portuguese and serves as a translator for our Portuguese-speaking patients.

Cara Jackson, RDMS (She/Her) is the lead sonographer at Maternal Fetal Care, PC.  She has served as a perinatal sonographer for her entire career.  She joined the ultrasound staff at Maternal Fetal Care, PC in 2009.  Previously, she held a position in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at The Stamford Hospital.  Cara earned her certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from the Institute of Allied Medical Professions.  She is registered in OB/GYN and is certified by the Fetal Medicine Foundation in nuchal translucency (NT), nasal bone (NB), cervical length, and Doppler flow studies.
