Shirley Griffith
BSN, MSN, APRN, NP-C, RNC-OB
Shirley Griffith (She/Her) earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, NY. She worked at Yale New Haven Hospital for 10 years, initially as a Maternity staff nurse and for nine years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and Assistant Nurse Manager. Subsequently, Shirley attended graduate school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and graduated with her Master’s Degree in Critical Care Obstetrics. Additionally, she pursued a Post-Master’s training at Vanderbilt University to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Shirley has worked as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Maternal Fetal Care, PC since 1996. Amongst her many responsibilities are managing the pre-conceptual consultations; conducting the initial prenatal visit; and providing nutritional counseling during pregnancy. She is the mom of two teenage daughters and a Shi-chon named Luna. Her favorite free-time activity is baking.
Emilee Bischof BSN, RN, c-EFM
Upon completion of her undergraduate education at Sacred Heart University, Emily Bishof (She/Her) went on to pursue an eleven-year career as a digital advertising executive in New York City. Following the birth of her son in 2015, Emilee chose to pursue her clear passion for high-risk obstetrics and completed University of Connecticut’s accelerated CEIN/BS program, earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She has since worked as a labor and delivery nurse, as well as a perinatal nurse, at both Yale New Haven Hospital and The Stamford Hospital. Emilee is thrilled to have joined the MFC team in 2022.
Ashley Pastor (She/Her) currently serves as a perinatal nurse for the Maternal Fetal Care team. She holds a Master’s Degree in both Nursing and Business Administration. Currently, Ashley is pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Salve Regina University. Ashley also serves as an Administrative Nurse Manager at Bridgeport Hospital and Registered Nurse on the Labor and Delivery unit at The Stamford Hospital. You will find her at our practice on Thursdays.

Gwen Stuard BSN, RN
Gwen Stuard (She/Her) earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Sacred Heart University. She then completed Fairfield University’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has previously worked at Bridgeport Hospital’s Stroke/Telemetry unit. She currently works at Yale New Haven Health’s Fertility clinic in Greenwich, CT. Gwen works part-time at Maternal Fetal Care, PC and is excited to continue her education at Georgetown University to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She has two dogs, Ryland and Rooney. Her favorite free-time activity is yoga.
